There are loose wires coming out of the ground not connected to anything and they have duct tape holding other wires to the carpet.

The AC didn’t work very well during hot summer days. On the weight room side, they have a lot of options, but everything is packed in, so there’s not a lot of space to actually work out.

Again, avoid this gym, their staff, and their heavy handed contract policies. Their approach is that given their membership is such a low dollar amount, most people won’t fight it and just keep paying… they guessed wrong with me.

I Aqui tried the one week free membership trial, and maybe I just had a bad experience, but truly, this place seems mediocre at best. The person who set up my membership gave me absolutely pelo useful information, just pushed a card at me and told me to have at it. When I asked for a rundown of the facility, policies, membership options, etc., she was nice enough, but not helpful.

Gyms for fatties like me are incredibly intimidating, and honestly, this gym wasn’t that much different. This place is still intimidating. But there were subtle little messages of support, like on the Aqui treadmills there are stickers that say «you belong» and stuff. Which kind of helps. Sort of.

I was advise by my new room-​mate that I needed to get a gym membership here. I was quite glad that I listened to his advice.
